The 2021 Vases are the culmination of my lifelong dream: to make my drawings solid.
They come from a page in one of my old notebooks, specifically from October 28, 2021! Born from a single stroke of a thin blue felt pen, they are now in volume, printed in translucent blue, to respect the drawing as faithfully as possible.
Their material allows for reflections and variations in depth, just like the ink of the felt pen.
For now, three silhouettes have emerged from the notebook; they are designed to form a set, but they can be displayed individually if you wish.
The Fantasque is the most versatile of the three vases. Both elongated and round, straight and dancing, neither big nor small, it is the perfect blend of its counterparts (or friends...? I don't really know their relationship).
Each vase is 3D printed then finished and prepared by hand.
