The 2021 Vases are the culmination of my lifelong dream: to make my drawings solid.
They originate from a page in one of my old notebooks, specifically October 28, 2021! Born from a single stroke of a fine blue felt-tip pen, they are now in volume, printed in translucent blue, to replicate the drawing as faithfully as possible.
Their material allows for reflections and variations in depth, much like the ink of the felt pen.
For now, three silhouettes have emerged from the notebook; they are designed to form a set, but they can stand alone if you wish.
The Shy one is the smallest of the three vases. It will win the hearts of those who love rounder and cuter shapes.
Each vase is 3D printed and then finished and prepared by hand.
